Welcome to my website! My name is Therese Newman and I am a Civil Celebrant based in Newcastle, Australia. I take pride in offering warm, professional and friendly service, drawing on my many years of experience in both celebrant services and public speaking.

About Me

I have been a private piano teacher for over 30 years, also teaching musicianship and music theory. Through my life I have experienced many personal events which have brought much joy and sadness and I feel I can draw upon these to provide empathy for your special day. I can also assist with suggestions and advice regarding planning your ceremony and the legalities involved.

What do I offer?

As an experienced Celebrant I have had the honour of providing my services to many different celebrations of life including weddings (both local, distant and overseas), naming ceremonies, funerals, renewal of vows, commitment ceremonies and many others milestones.
